Jun 2005 – Date   –   Exploit Space / Organise Space  –  Owner and Head Designer

  • Created Exploit Space Ltd” specifically to solve spatial and storage issues in London homes. Responsible for all business systems including design, manufacturing, branding and marketing. Working under two brands (exploitspace.com and www.organisespace.com) have completed over 200 projects solving complex spatial problems.
  • Daily use of SolidWorks CAD software to create components designed for CNC manufacture
  • Subcontracted as project manager on two large construction projects (Heath Hall and a residential care home for autistic teenagers).

Aug 2004 – Jun 2005  –  Project Management Sub-contracting and Voluntary Work

  • Designed and built an information centre at the gateway to the Tanjung Puting National Park in Borneo showcasing orang-utan rehabilitation and reforestation projects. jonwild.com

  • Introduced formal project management with a weekly cycle of project tracking and reporting
  • Designed and implemented critical business processes where none had previously existed

  • Implemented formal Project Management across the business (a first-generation games developer)

Jun 1994 – Jun 1998  –  Virtuality PLC  –  Designer & Project Assistant

  • Part of a small design team, responsible for ergonomics, manufacturing schedules and value engineering
  • Helped design and manufacture some of the World’s first commercially available virtual reality headsets between 1994 and 1994
